Thus, traditionals like "A Rosebud in June" or "Sheep-Crook, Black Dog" get the abrasive treatment, together with tracks by artists as diverse as Neko Case, Townes van Zandt, Japanese songwriter Kazuki Tomokawa, and Cole Porter (!).
