Parti enregistrer à Chicago en compagnie de John Congleton (explosions In The Sky...) et toujours signé sur le label Africantape, le trio Nantais nous confirme avec ce troisième album son talent et fait (déjà) preuve d'une étonnante maturité. Après une longue tournée internationale baptisée "La Colonie de Vacances" en compagnie d'autres groupes (Pneu et Electric Electric) hexagonaux prometteurs, Papier Tigre nous revient avec RECREATION, un disque aux compositions en perpétuelle évolution, abrasives et terriblement efficaces. Décomplexés, talentueux et inventifs, ces Français n'ont décidemment rien à envier aux meilleures formations underground US. [I.K]
