Le projet assez ancien du Beach Boys de travailler sur l'oeuvre de Gershwin a enfin vu le jour en 2009. Double travail consistant à prolonger des oeuvres inachevées de Gershwin mais aussi des reprises d'une dizaine de standards du compositeur. Sens de la mélodie, instantanés pop qui devaient ainsi rapprocher le travail de Wilson à celui du composteur décédé en 1937. (AB).
