C-86 le retour ? Le magasin londonien Rough Trade en est persuadé et à juste titre 2009 aura été l'année du Shoegazing à tout va. La nouvelle compilation fait la part belle aux valeurs sûres de ce mouvement (Love Is All, Los Campesinos, Vivian Girls, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart et les feltiens Girls), ainsi qu'aux futurs grands (Dum Dum Girls, Pocketbooks). Les morceaux sont d'une efficacité redoutable et prouve encore une fois que le travail de défrichage des Pastels, Slowdive, Shop Assistants et autre Felt n'aura pas été vain...
