Far from the lazy old singles-collection-with-two-new-tracks, Ten Years Of Tears is a lovingly compiled selection by the dour Falkirk duo, from an early demo, Islands, to the final single, There Is No Ending, with a heap of outtakes, live cuts, rarities and reworks in between. It's all classic Strap: tales of bad sex and worse relationships told over countless beers in dismal pubs. Wonderful stuff, although if you're of a gloomy disposition, approach with caution."
