Derrière le nom de The Child Of Lov se cache Cole Williams, un jeune producteur,multi-instrumentiste et chanteur néerlandais. Sur son premier album enregistré dans le studio de Damon Albarn (présent sur le titre "One Day"), le batave brouille les pistes en mêlant pop, soul, hip-hop et funk sur des morceaux au son un peu "sâle", un peu à la manière de Beck ou Gnarls Barkley.
