WE'RE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS TONIGHT
THE RUM DIARY
- Ref. XR929T
- DEVIL IN THE WOODS, 2005.
"Three songs into the RUM DIARY's new album, you might find yourself asking¯"Is this the same band or a mix CD?" When the group set out to record their latest release, they wanted to craft "an album"--a true portfolio of songs with a unique variance strung together by an uncommon thread. They questioned the albums of today and pondered the classics of yesteryear. They recruited PAUL JENKINS (BLACK HEART PROCESSION / THREE MILE PILOT) and TIM MOONEY from AMERICAN MUSIC CLUB to lend a hand in the studio and after ten months hard work they emerged with Heights -an album that guides listeners along a narrow trail through valleys of dense fog, whispering grasslands, and treacherous mountain passes."
